After your reservation has been made, we will send you the Terms and Conditions and Rental Agreement via e-mail , unless requested otherwise. Please review all information and verify that all of your pertinent information and arrival/departure dates are correct. The last page is the Agreement and will need to be signed and returned to our office within 48 hours of receipt. Please be sure to fill out completely your driver's license and car information (car information can wait if renting a car or if not sure of which vehicle you will use to travel). Return it signed to our office with a legible copy of your Driver's license (required for first time guests only).

A reservation guarantee equal to one night's rent and processing fee will be required at time of reservation. For reservations of 30 days or longer a 25% of the monthly rate is required as a Reservation Guarantee. The balance of the total rental rate, including cleaning fee, and city tax is due 30 days prior to arrival date. If your payment is not received in our office within 7 days if paying by check, your reservation will be canceled without further notice. Checks must be in U.S. funds and should be made payable to:

Upon receipt of your signed contract, the card on file will be charged accordingly, either the Reservation Guarantee or the full payment if within 30 days, a Credit Card receipt will be sent to you via email confirming the amount charged. If paying only a reservation guarantee, the remaining balance will be due for payment 30 days prior to your arrival.

For last minute reservations, or any reservation made within 30 days to arrival, payment in full is required . Payment must be made by guaranteed funds; Visa, Master or Discover Card, cashiers check or money order. Personal checks cannot be accepted .

Credit Cards

A valid credit card is required to make a reservation. When paying by credit card, the name of the person mentioned in the reservation, must also be the name that appears on the credit card. A picture I.D. will also be required

 

 

Returned Checks

There is a $50 service charge for any check that is returned unpaid from the bank. The amount and service charge must be paid immediately or else the reservation will be automatically canceled.

Substitutions

While every effort is made to accommodate guests in the specific property requested and reserved, change in ownership, damage or malfunction may cause that property to be unavailable. We will contact you as soon as possible and shall make every attempt to find suitable alternate accommodations for the same period.

If a suitable substitute property cannot be procured, Beach Bum Holiday Rentals and Management's sole liability shall be to provide a full refund of all monies already received.

Cancellations & Refunds

In the event that you must cancel your reservation, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. If written notice is received 30 days prior to your arrival date, refunds of advanced payments will be refunded, less a $100 cancellation fee plus the processing fee. Reservations of one month or greater, cancellation notice must be received 60 days prior to your arrival and a 10% of monthly rental fee plus the processing fee will apply.

If cancellation occurs within 30 days of your arrival date, or 60 days of your arrival for month or longer reservations, any refund is subject to the ability of Beach Bum Holiday Rentals and Management's to re-rent the property. Every effort will be made to re-rent the property. However, if the property is not re-rented, NO MONEY WILL BE REFUNDED. If the property is re-rented, all monies received, less a $100 cancellation fee plus the processing fee will be refunded. NO CREDIT WILL BE ISSUED IN THE CASE OF EARLY DEPARTURE.

Errors & Omissions

Every effort has been made to provide accurate and complete information on this website; however, we are not responsible for printing errors, omissions, in-operative appliances or changes in furnishings or equipment by homeowners, or other matters that are beyond our control. If you have any particular requirements or personal needs, we suggest that you speak directly with one of our reservation specialists to see if they can assist you in finding a suitable property.

Bed Tax

Rentals of less than 30 nights are subject to a transient occupancy tax. All county areas such as Avila Beach and Oceano also impose the 11.0% tax on the cleaning fee.

Pismo Beach 11.00% for all reservations 30 days or less
Avila Beach : 11.00% for all reservations 30 days or less
Grover Beach : 10.00% for all reservations 30 days or less
Oceano Beach : 11.00% for all reservations 30 days or less

A  Security Deposit is required on all reservations and is payable as part of the total balance. This deposit protects the owners from any material, accidental damage done to the rental property.

We may also charge an “ Excessive Cleaning “ fee if you do not follow proper check-out procedures and have left the rental property in an unclean and in an un-orderly manner, unsecured, or leave lights or heat on. Please remember that this is someone's private home…please respect it and treat it as you would your own.

If you violate the terms and conditions of your Occupancy Agreement or create a nuisance at the property and are asked to leave, you will lose any remaining rental monies and forfeit any Security Deposit.
