We had not rented in the Pismo area since 2014, but when our daughter graduated from Cal Poly, SLO this year, I secured this rental one year prior. As usual, the rental process was smooth.
The Beach Bum offices had moved to Main Street, and I am VERY happy for that, as it is a far easier access than their prior location, around the corner.
The property itself is gorgeous. Private driveway. The garage held our Impala and the graduate’s Focus easily. The “front door” is actually a between-floor landing. Kitchen/living/master with full master bath and guest half bath is upstairs and two smaller bedrooms and full bath with garage downstairs. Beautifully kept yard in the back for the kids. There is a kettle grill on the front balcony.
Warning: LOTS of stair walking.
The kitchen is decently stocked. There is a Vons close by. Quiet neighborhood. Dunes access short drive nearby. And of course the beaches of Pismo is an easy drive north. If you are there during monarch season, the Monarch grove is a MUST.
We will always use Beach Bum, and we will definitely consider this home again.
