A garden that is a popular stop for many families is the Lake Park Native Garden. This garden was planted in the early ’90s. The purpose of this garden was to give the public opportunities to observe native plants that do well in temperature extremes. This garden was recently renovated in 2016-2017. Not only is this garden beautiful and a great spot for the family, but the ANTA (Atascadero Native Tree Association) is heavily involved in keeping the garden at its peak.
